What It Takes, is from the new Winter Collection 2024 by Cadillacquer. This nail polish has magenta to yellow magnetic micro flakes in a sparkly aqua/turquoise shimmer base.
A few words from Cadillacquer maker, Madeleine, to explain the inspiration for this beautiful collection: "This collection is very dear to my heart. I‘ve been suffering from chronic pain since more than a year and it’s especially bad when I work a lot, so I needed more help from friends and family in this time. These colors are inspired by this time, with all its ups and downs and dedicated to eveyone who helped me. The names are mostly from song lyrics."
The magnetic effect with these polishes is acheived using a Magnet Tool.

Application
A magnet tool is required to acheive the magnetic effect. When using a magnet, every layer (including your top coat) should be magnetized for best results. Polish can be worn magnetized or unmagnetized.
Apply 2-3 coats of polish or 1 coat over a creme black (or any colour) base.
A base coat can prevent staining (especially for darker shades) and top coat can prolong the wear time and minimize chipping.
The utmost care is taken to ensure that product pictures match the real color of the polish. Please note that colors can appear different on different device screens.

This is so pretty and unique. I tried it on both the cat eye and velvet style and although the velvet style was gorgeous the cat eye style blew me away. The contract between the shimmery aqua base and the magenta to pink to peach to yellow magnetic shimmer is so stunning. I did three coats and magnetized my third coat as well as my top coat.

This polish is so sparkly and luminous. Takes a bit to build up as it's a clear base, you might need a blurring base coat if you have a free edge, but it magnetizes great.
