Lacquer Drop

Lacquer Drop is a seasonal collaboration between Canadian indie polish makers. Each drop is built around a theme, and every participating brand contributes one shade as their interpretation of it. Past themes include Spring Thaw, Northern Fall, Winter Chill, and Pride.

These are true limited editions. Shades are made to order during a pre-order window that runs about a week, and once it closes they are not produced again. Most of what is on this page comes from past drops and has sold out. That is the design, not an oversight.

Getting in on the next drop

Drops open a few times a year. The Lacquer Drop Lounge Facebook group is where the makers post sneak peeks in the weeks before a window opens, so it is the earliest warning you will get.

The makers

Recent drops have featured Prairie Crocus Polish, Clionadh Cosmetics, Grackle Lacquer, Paint it Pretty Polish, ANLAC, Inspired Sense, Bedford and Grove, and Unity Colour Creations. Each shade is created specifically for the drop, so these exact colours are not sold anywhere else, including by the makers themselves. Each drop also raises money for a charity chosen by the participating brands.
