Important Update: U.S. Tariff Rule Changes for Inbound Shipments (Effective August 29, 2025)

What’s Changing:

As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. has ended the longstanding “de minimis” exemption. This exemption previously allowed inbound shipments to the U.S. valued under $800 to enter duty-free.

This applies to all inbound shipments, regardless of transportation mode (postal, express, freight), value or country of origin.

How It Affects U.S. Customers:

Duties and tariffs will now apply to all inbound shipments.

Carriers are now required to collect duties/tariffs on all incoming packages. Unfortunately, these charges are set by U.S. Customs and outside of our control. We are working to keep costs as low as possible and will keep you updated as processes evolve.
