Hi friends,

This is not a post that I'm looking forward to posting. I wanted to share a quick update about US orders. Due to ongoing issues with new tariff regulations and unpredictable customs and brokerage fees, I've made the difficult decision to pause all U.S. shipping for now.

This change is temporary, but necessary - I don’t want anyone stuck with unexpected fees or more delays while I try to wade through this chaos with shipping carriers. Customs fees and tariff are one thing, but then there are brokerage, admin, anything-else fees that can get tacked on and those fees add up fast. 

If you have an open order shipping to the US, I’ll be in touch directly with another update and options. I know this isn’t ideal. I truly appreciate everyone's patience and kindness while I navigate this mess.

Unfortunately, all of this unexpected admin work has had a knock on effect to my valued Canadian customers - if I'm trying to figure out duties and brokerage fees, I'm not packing orders. If I'm not packing orders then I'm not writing or replying to emails or responding to messages or social post updating, etc. 

And let's not forget the new Canada Post strike (one of the Lacquer Drop brands is stuck because of the strike, so an email to those affected will be sent out).

I think these past few months have been the most difficult in the almost 8 years of NailStuff. 

But, despite all of that, I am grateful for you being here, for supporting small business. Thank you ❤️
